Present from the GCCI were the President, Mr. Kester Hutson, Senior Vice President, Mr. Richard Rambarran and Secretary, Mrs Kathy Smith. Mr. Gaines explained that his agency will be deal focused, and geared at facilitating partnerships between US and Guyanese companies.

Mr. Hutson expressed the GCCI’s eagerness to work with Mr. Gaines to facilitate an encouraging private sector environment. The meeting also saw discussions on how the two agencies can work to provide access to financing opportunities for Guyanese businesses through the US EXIM Bank.
