The Executive Management Committee and Members of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) were among the notable attendees at a recent trade delegation networking reception held at Duke Lodge on the evening of April 19, 2023.

Hosted by the Energies Industries Council (EIC) and the Aberdeen International Associates (AIA), the event aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information between Guyanese businesses and international players in the oil and gas industry.

The trade delegation, led by Mr. Neil Mcintosh and Ms. Natalia Bawolska comprised eight companies seeking to expand their services in the burgeoning oil and gas sector in Guyana. Mr. Mcintosh expressed his gratitude to attendees for their presence and took the opportunity to announce that the GCCI will be leading a delegation to the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas, from May 1-4, 2023.

The GCCI, as the leading business organization in Guyana, is committed to promoting and developing the interests of its members and the wider business community. With the country’s emergence as a major player in the oil and gas industry, the GCCI has been actively seeking ways to connect its members with incoming delegations.
