President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Mr. Kester Hutson, delivered remarks on Wednesday, May 8, at the ‘Around the World Series Panel’ Discussion at the Offshore Technology Conference 2024 in Houston, Texas.

The session was held under the theme ‘Guyana’s Emergence as a Regional Energy Powerhouse and its Expansion into the Global Oil Marker’, and saw Mr. Hutson underscored that Guyana’s expansion into the global oil market represents a historic opportunity for the nation to achieve prosperity, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Other speakers at the forum included GCCI’s Mr. Richard Rambarran, President of ExxonMobil Guyana, Mr. Alistair Routledge, Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, the Hon Deodat Indar, , and Chief Investment Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment, Dr. Peter Ramsaroop.
