(March 29, 2022)- This morning, a team of representatives from the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) paid a courtesy call to the CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Barnett at the CARICOM Secretariat located in Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown.

Both parties engaged in a fruitful discussion about matters related to regional development, trade and Guyana’s private sector, which also bore key takeaways that can be utilized in fostering more progressiveness in the Guyanese and regional private sector.

The GCCI is extremely grateful for today’s dialogue and looks forward to collaborations and more engagement with CARICOM in the near future.
