The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) held an Investment Breakfast seminar on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Marriott Hotel, Kingston, Georgetown. The seminar was held to facilitate discussions on investment opportunities and incentives. This was done in light of the growing Investment opportunities in Guyana due to the country’s rapid economic growth over the past few years. And, with opportunities on the rise, it was of utmost importance that we pinpointed the options and how local businesses can take advantage of them.

The main speaker at the event was none other than the Chief Investment Officer/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GO-Invest, Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, who gave an impactful and enlightening speech on understanding investment and investment incentives in Guyana.

The activity also featured a question and answer segment where the business representatives/owners voiced pivotal concerns regarding investment opportunities and incentives. The open dialogue allowed for more participation and learning, which was among the GCCI’s primary objectives.
