Councilors of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) attended the – ‘Louisiana-Guyana business networking breakfast.’ This event was held on Thursday, November 17 at 8:30 a.m. at the Pegasus Hotel/Savannah Suite.

The delegation discussed a number of sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, and petroleum. This information-sharing session was useful for identifying areas in which Guyanese companies can integrate and partner with the delegation and for revealing cultural similarities between Guyana and Louisiana.

The delegation also took time out to explore the history, culture, and industry successes of Louisiana’s Bayou Region.
