OVERVIEW
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is Guyana’s leading Business Support Organisation, and is the voice of the business community in the country. With a deep focus on capacity-building and opportunities for local companies, the GCCI is the only Chamber in Guyana that is legislatively mandated under the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry Act Chapter 89:03 of the laws of Guyana. The Chamber has close to 1000 members, inclusive of Micro, Small, Medium and Large Enterprises, with 21 Councillors on the Council, and 14 committees that support the GCCI’s mandate.

The GCCI represents the voice of the business community in Guyana and strives to advocate policies, stimulate trade and investment, connect businesses, sustain economic growth and expand member opportunities with the aim of contributing to a stable and sustainable economic and social environment in Guyana where businesses can prosper.
