Members of the Executive Management Committee of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Commercial Section of the U.S Embassy recently discussed areas for potential collaboration with the aim of expanding support to the private sector.
This discourse began on September 30, during a visit to the GCCI by Senior Commercial Officer at the United States Embassy, Mr. Bruce J. Ellsworth. He was accompanied by Commercial Specialist, Ms. Amanda Edmondson, and Commercial Assistant, Ms. Tocoma Alexis, and met with President of the GCCI, Mrs. Kathy S. Smith; Junior Vice President, Mr. Brian Edwards, and Executive Member and Immediate Past President, Mr. Kester Hutson.
The conversation delved into support for inbound and outbound missions, trade show participation, and franchising support, as well as connecting members of the health industry with international companies in this sector.
The two parties committed to continuing this discourse and fostering a closer relationship for the benefit of private sector development.
