The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, through its Entrepreneurship and Small Business Committee has launched its inaugural National Small Business Week to raise the visibility of its micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) members.

Chairman of the committee, Dr. Rosh Khan, who conceptualized the initiative, shared that “We want to reconnect with the pillars in our communities, to not only increase their sales and traffic, but to remind the nation that behind every small business is a community leader, who is making a difference everyday by contributing to economic growth and fulfilling basic needs.”

The event will occur from April 8th to 16th, 2022 and will feature a series of online webinars,
community outreaches and incredible special discounts on products and services from the
participating businesses.

All activities, special offers and additional resources will be hosted on the GCCI’s website at
http://nsbw.gcci.gy/ and on the Facebook page. The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (GCCI) will also partner with various Government Ministries, corporate sponsors and
other Business Services Organizations to ensure the success of this initiative, and its subsequent continuation as a yearly event.
