Our Story began in the 1980’s with the construction and commissioning of The “MV Island Trader”, Today our business includes efficient procurement, logistics & transportation in the Americas.

“Marine Traders Atlantic Inc” (MTA.) is a member of “The Atlantic Ventures Incorporated Group” (AVI). This group has been in business for over 28 years with diversified operations in the fields of logistics, agriculture, mining and distribution. All operations of the AVI member companies are independently managed. MTA is a 100% Guyanese owned indigenous company and “Local Content Guyanese Supplier”, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

We achieve this by providing ready & affordable solutions utilizing reliable equipment, the most direct routes, and bringing value to our clients by creating efficiencies in the regional supply chain.

We focus on the Americas. Our business model will give attention to, and provide solutions for logistical challenges experienced by our clients in the Americas

Procurement includes working with our clients on the customization & creation of supply-chains. This is possible given we utilize our owned equipment, and also partner with like minded asset owners.
