On October 14th, 2014 the GCCI facilitated a procurement workshop hosted by the Caribbean Export Development Agency (a regional export development and trade and investment promotion organization).
The participants who benefited from this workshop consisted of five Guyanese companies who were provided with grants from the organization. They were, Amazon Caribbean Guyana Limited, Eco Woods, Edward B Beharry & Company Limited, Parika Sawmills Limited and Superior Shingles & Wood Product Incorporated.
The workshop provided its attendees with extensive knowledge on grant contracts and procurement procedures.
