GCCI’s president Mr. Timothy Tucker received a courtesy visit from Mr. Matthew Yngson on November 24, 2022. Mr. Yngson is a Representative Councillor of the Caribbean AEAN Council and Diplomatic Envoy of the Eastern Caribbean-Southeast Asia Chamber.

Currently, Mr. Yngson is assisting Guyana’s Honorary Consul, Mr. Joseph D’Oliveira, with numerous projects in the Philippines, especially in the trade and tourism sectors.

Among the topics discussed were strengthening Guyana’s economic aspirations in Southeast Asia, opening a Trade and Commerce office, boosting investment opportunities, and improving business exchanges.
