GCCI pays courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. K.J. Srinivasa the Indian High Commissioner to Guyana

The President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Mr. Kester Hutson and Secretary, Ms. Kathy Smith paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Dr. K.J. Srinivasa the Indian High Commissioner to Guyana on April 11, 2023, at the High Commission of India in Georgetown.

During the meeting, the parties discussed various areas of mutual interest, including strengthening trade and economic ties between Guyana and India as well as exploring potential business opportunities in the non-oil sectors.

The High Commissioner highlighted the importance of fostering closer collaboration between the GCCI and the Indian High Commission to further enhance trade and investment between the two countries.

As the leading business support organization in Guyana, GCCI remains committed to fostering strong business relationships with local and global partners and looks forward to continued engagement with the High Commission of India and other key stakeholders to further cooperation and partnership.
