Several members of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), on Wednesday, April 17, attended a meeting with a delegation from CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited (CenerTech), a sister company to CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited (CPGL), which holds a 25% stake in Guyana’s Stabroek Oil Block.

The meeting was held at CNOOC’s High Street Office, and saw a presentation by CenerTech’s Global Marketing Manager, Mr. Lu Jianming and other high-ranking officers from the Technical Services, Technical Equipment, and Safety and Environmental divisions of the company.

CenerTech is in Guyana to meet with stakeholders to assess the business and operational environment and to introduce CenerTech’s services and capabilities as the company deliberates opening local operations.

The CenerTech delegation was keen on meeting with GCCI companies operating within the petroleum sector. Founded in 2008, CenerTech is an integrated global energy technology and services company. The business covers the entire gamut of services from upstream to downstream of the energy industry, with a primary focus on oilfield production. The company has over 15,000 employees in more than 20 countries.
