Today, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Industry (GCCI) met with representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to discuss matters related to refugees, asylum seekers and migrant workers. The GCCI was represented by President, Mr. Timothy Tucker, Junior Vice President, Kester Hutson, Secretary, Ms. Shaleeza Shaw, and Executive Director, Richard Rambarran.

At the meeting, a presentation was also made by the UNHCR on a biometric system for registering and monitoring refugees, asylum seekers and migrant workers.
