GCCI Launches 2nd Edition of Business Development Forum

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) officially launched the Second Edition of its Business Development Forum yesterday, Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at the Office of the Chamber.

This year, the Business Development Forum (BDF) is being held under the theme “Evolve Your Brand, Fuel Your Finance.” The BDF will be held on September 27th-28th, 2019 in the Savannah Suite of the Pegasus Hotel.

The forum was designed to serve as a platform for micro, small, medium and large enterprises to evolve their “roadmap to success.” During the course of two days, a team of industry experts will facilitate discussions on digital marketing strategy, storytelling for clients, project proposal writing, innovative startup financing and financial literacy, among others.

The GCCI has partnered with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ansa McAL Group of Companies, Ministry of Business, Cacique Accounting College, Republic Bank Guyana Limited, and others in the public and private sectors.

Through this forum, the GCCI seeks to provide up-to-the-minute and relevant information for each category of business. Participants will also have ample opportunities to ask questions and get answers from the experts.

Registration for the BDF can be completed online at www.gcci.gy/bdf or at the GCCI Secretariat located at 156 Waterloo Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown. Registered participants who wish to join the GCCI will receive free membership for the remainder of 2019.
