GCCI Executive members attend Energy NL Networking Reception
Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Senior Vice President, Mr. Richard Rambarran and Junior Vice President, Mr. Gavin Ramsoondar, on Tuesday, October 17, attended a Networking Reception to welcome Energy NL’s delegation to Guyana.
The reception was held at the residence of the Canadian High Commissioner to Guyana, in Bel Air.
The Trade Mission is led by Energy NL Operations Manager, Ms. Beverley Bishop. Remarks were delivered at the reception by Minister of Natural Resources, the Honorable Vickram Bharrat.
Energy NL, with support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Industry, Energy and Technology (IET), is currently in Guyana for a Trade Mission from October 16 – 20. This is Energy NL’s fifth visit to Guyana.
This visit is focusing on multiple business sectors including renewable and non-renewable energy, cleantech/oceantech, mining, digitalization and infrastructure. The Trade Mission will also see business to business matching making to partner local businesses with the Canadian businesses.
