Celebrating Authenticity: Floor It Guyana receives Made in Guyana Standards Mark
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) joined Floor It Guyana on April 20, 2023, as they celebrated their achievement of the Made in Guyana Standards Mark for their Hardwood Flooring, Wooden Moulding, and Wooden Decking. The event was held at Floor It Guyana’s facility, and Mr. Kester Hutson, the President of GCCI, congratulated the company on their accomplishment.
The Made in Guyana Standards Mark is a registered trademark that recognizes locally produced products on both the local and international markets. It serves as a symbol of quality for authentic Guyanese products, helping to differentiate them from other products in the market.
Mr. Hutson’s congratulatory message to Floor It Guyana also served as an encouragement to other members of the Chamber to work towards achieving the Made in Guyana Standard. As Guyana’s economy continues to experience significant growth, the Chamber sees the importance of this standard in promoting the quality and authenticity of locally made products.
For those interested in applying for the Made in Guyana Standards Mark, the application form is available on the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) website at https://gnbsgy.org/forms-all/.
