GCCI participates in UN SDG Partnership Forum
Chairperson of the Green Economy Committee of Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCC), Ms. Shaleeza Shaw, on Wednesday, October 18, represented the Chamber at the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Partnership Forum, which was held at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.
The SDG Partnership Forum noted that the private sector is the engine of growth. Delivering remarks at the Forum, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, the Honourable Oneidge Waldrond, advised that while government continues to prioritise collaboration with private sector in crafting policies and developmental projects that supports government in striving towards achieving the seventeen (17) SDGs.
