GCCI Construction & HSSE Committee Engages Government Electrical Inspectorate on Electrical Safety
Today, the Chairman of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (GCCI) Construction and HSSE Committee, Mr. Keon Howard, met with Mr. Kevon Grimmond, Chief Electrical Inspector (Ag), and other senior representatives of the Government Electrical Inspectorate (GEI). Discussions were held on how the GCCI and the GEI can collaboratively promote electrical safety in the construction sector.
As the GCCI’s Construction and HSSE Committee furthers its agenda to promote health and safety in the local construction environment, it looks forward to partnering with the GEI on activities aimed at building awareness of electrical hazards and electrical safety best practices.
The GCCI and the GEI also agreed to work together to ensure that members of the business community are compliant with electricity sector standards and regulations.
