On October 9, 2026, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) hosted its President’s Reception at the GCCI Boardroom, welcoming businesses that joined the Chamber over the preceding months.
The reception was led by GCCI Senior Vice President, Mr. Gavin Ramsoondar, alongside Vice Chairperson of the Membership Committee, Mrs. Onecia Johnson, who welcomed attendees and engaged with the new members as they explored the opportunities available through the Chamber.
Held during the final quarter of 2026, the gathering provided an opportunity for businesses to gain a deeper understanding of the Chamber’s role, the benefits and services available to them, and how they can leverage these resources to support their development and growth.
Beyond the introduction to the Chamber, the reception encouraged entrepreneurs and business representatives to exchange ideas, establish valuable connections and explore opportunities for collaboration across industries.
Through engagements such as these, the GCCI continues to strengthen relationships within the private sector, creating an environment where businesses can connect, participate and grow together.
