𝐆𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐕 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝𝐲.

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) hosted National Security Advisor, Captain Gerry Gouveia Sr., for an engagement with members of its Council regarding the MV Barima tragedy and related developments.
Discussions touched on regulatory oversight and the Commission of Inquiry, among other matters related to the incident.
During the engagement, GCCI President, Mrs. Kathy Smith, also shared information on the HEART Initiative, providing an overview of the initiative and its intended focus.
Also participating in the engagement were GCCI Senior Vice President Gavin Ramsoondar, Councillors Dr. Rosh Khan and Paul Archer, Past President Komal Ramnauth, and Honorary Secretary of the Private Sector Commission, Josephine Tapp.
The GCCI expressed its appreciation to Captain Gouveia for taking the time to engage with the Chamber and its Councillors.
