Mrs. Melisa McRae-George

Mrs. Melisa McRae-George is the Treasurer on the Executive of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce (GCCI), and she also serves as the Chairperson of the Human Resource Management (HRM) and Capacity Building Committee.
Mrs. McRae-George is the Chief Operating Officer at Guyana Payroll Solutions (GPS), which specializes in payroll processing. She is an Accounting & HR Professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She is a Certified Accountant and a trainer in payroll, financial management and accounting software such as Quickbooks and SAGE.
Mrs. McRae-George has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Food For The Poor (Guyana) Inc, and CFO at Itel. She later rose to the position of General Manager at Itel before co-founding her own companies Solutions Pro in 2014 and Guyana Payroll Solutions in 2017.
Mrs. McRae-George has been involved with the Chamber for over six years now. During her time at the Chamber, Mrs. McRae-George has served as a member on several of the GCCI Committees including the HRM and Capacity Building Committee, the Advocacy Committee and the Trade and Investment Committee. Mrs. McRae-George is looking forward to contributing to the advancement of the Chamber given her expansive experience of managing people and systems, and her working knowledge of labour laws, employee taxes and NIS.
