Mr. Rayad P. Boyce
Councillor
Mr. Rayad P. Boyce has been involved with the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) since 2019, and has served as a member of the Chamber’s Council for the past three years. He is an active member of several of the Chamber’s committees including the Trade and Investment Committee, the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Committee, and the Human Resource Management and Capacity Building Committee.
An astute businessman with a philanthropic heart, Mr. Boyce has more than 20 years in business with excellent leadership skills which is used continually to expand his success in the marketing and advertising industry. He has served as the CEO of the Sonic Group of Companies since 2006.
He is the Founder of Sonic Business Services, a marketing agency; SB Transportation Services, an auto rental company, and SB General Services, a construction and supply company providing medium and high security fences.
Mr. Boyce is also the Co-founder and Director of Youth Basketball Guyana, a Non-Profit Organisation that aims to foster grass root basketball development and education for youths. He also currently represents the GCCI on the UG-School of Entrepreneurship, Business and Innovation (SEBI) Advisory Board.
