Mr. Navin Prashad
Councillor
Mr. Navin Prashad has served as a Councillor of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2017.
A proud proponent of private sector development for over 15 years, Mr. Prashad previously served as a member of the Trade and Investment, and Security and Governance Committees. He also held the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Fundraising Committee.
An astute businessman, Mr. Prashad is the Director of M.P. Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited. He is also the Director of Palm Court Incorporated.
Mr. Prashad, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Guyana, is the proprietor and Chief Executive Officer of Nort Lite Incorporated, an automotive service provider.
Under his directorship, Palm Court received an award for continuous support and contribution to the Chamber’s work programme.
