Mr. Kester Hutson
Councillor and Immediate Past President
Mr. Kester Hutson is a Councillor, and as the Immediate Past President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), he was invited to serve on the Executive Management Committee.
Mr. Hutson served as President of the GCCI for the period 2023-2025. Prior to his role as President of the Chamber, Mr. Hutson also served at the Chamber in the capacity of Jnr. Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman of the Security and Governance Committee. He also previously chaired the GCCI Advocacy, Business and Economic Affairs Committee.
Mr. Hutson is the director and founder of Dapper Technology Inc., a leading ICT company operating in the electronic security, ICT and electrical spaces, which has been serving clients throughout Guyana in the public and private sectors for well over 18 years, and two other companies that operate in the construction and engineering sectors.
Mr. Hutson is also a former tutor of the Government Technical Institute, where he served for four years in the Department of Science. Mr. Hutson has several ICT certifications, and he is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
