Mr. Eusi Evelyn
Councillor
Mr. Eusi Evelyn is a Councillor of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and he is also the Chairperson of the Trade and Investment Committee. He founded and serves as the Managing Director of Green State Oil and Gas Services Inc., a company that offers capacity-building services in a number of areas in the field of oil and gas, including NEBOSH, IOSH, OPITO, and Marine certification in oil and gas.
Mr. Evelyn also previously served as the Project Officer at the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with responsibility for the development and implementation of the Caribbean Development Bank’s projects Targeting Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSME) in Guyana. He has obtained the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute in the USA, and is a Fellow Certified Project Accountant (FCPA) and Certified Project Manager of the Accountants Institute in the USA through the (FAAPM) Fellow American Academy of Project Management USA.
Mr. Evelyn has more than 30 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors, and worked across the 10 Administrative Regions of Guyana, providing capacity-building support to MSMEs in the areas of Finance and Project Management, Business Sustainability, Community Participation, and Development. Mr. Evelyn has a solid background in Banking & Finance having worked for more than 10 years in the banking sector. He achieved a BSc in Accounting and an MSc in Accounting and Management.
