GCCI Receives Courtesy Call from Team of Malaysian Investors

On Monday, January 13th, 2020, officials from the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) met with a team of investors from Prospek Suria Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company specializing in the prospecting, development and trade service of nonferrous metal mineral sources. The Malaysian delegation was headed by Ahmad Shabrimi Mohamed Sidek, Special Officer, Minister of Economic Affairs.
President of the Chamber, Nicholas Deygoo-Boyer, noted that Guyana has a lot to offer in terms of investment opportunities, and added that local businesses welcome the opportunity to build bilateral partnerships with their Malaysian counterparts. The Chamber also ensured the delegation of its active involvement in apprising its membership of investment opportunities available in Malaysia.
