GCCI meets with Mr. Nelson Rodriguez, Business Development Director of One Global Broking Limited
On October 26, 2022, GCCI’s President, Mr. Timothy Tucker and Executive Director Mr. Richard Rambarran met with Mr. Nelson Rodriguez, Business Development Director, One Global Broking and Dr. Rosh Khan, President of ACE Consultancy.
During the engagement, Mr. Nelson formally introduced One global Broking Limited to the Chamber. One global is a London-based commercial insurance and reinsurance broker that has been in Guyana for about a year.
The company’s singular focus is improving the way in which businesses around the world manage risk via insurance.
Mr. Nelson expressed that the company’s intent is to provide Guyana with technical support on risk management, claim handling and loss adjustment in Oil and Gas and other energy related projects.
The company’s ultimate goal is to bring to the Guyana’s market, the actual capacity to be able to deal with oil and gas related risk management and insurance at the local level through the provision of Financial support to local insurance companies.
