GCCI Meets with Honourable Charles Ramson, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) visited the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports for a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening the relationship between the Chamber and the Ministry. The visit, which took place on April 19, 2023, was attended by the Chamber’s Executive Management Committee and the Honourable Minister Charles S. Ramson.
The Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports who is also the former chairman of the Chamber’s Trade and Investment Committee, welcomed the newly elected EMC and commended them for their interest in working closely with the Ministry.
Minister Ramson stressed the importance of public-private partnerships and also outlined some of the government’s ongoing initiatives in these sectors, including programs aimed at promoting cultural events, developing sports infrastructure, and supporting youth entrepreneurship.
The GCCI looks forward to working with the Ministry on various joint initiatives, including business mixers, youth development initiatives, collaborations, and events.
