GCCI meets with Global Trust Capital as company looks to set up local office

President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Tuesday, February 13, met with Mr. Fabian Vincent, Senior Advisor-Structured Finance at Global Trust Impact Capital. Global Trust Impact Capital is currently looking to set up an office in Guyana to capitalise on the country’s growing needs for funding facilities. Also present at the meeting was Mr. Lyndon Ramlogan, a Partner at Panthera S.A. Inc.
Mr. Vincent noted that Global Trust is extremely excited by the encouraging business environment evolving in Guyana, and is looking forward to contributing to the countryโ€™s development.
Mr. Hutson said that with the extensive growth ongoing in Guyana expanding the country’s financing needs, institutions such as Global Trust would add great value to Guyana in providing more options for funding development. Mr. Hutson conveyed that the Chamber looks forward to working with Global Trust, and assisting Global Trust in whatever way it can with the setting up of a local operations. Mr. Vincent extended an invitation for the Chamber to conduct a trade mission to the Global Trust operations in the US.
