GCCI meets with Customs House Brokers and Clerks Association
Yesterday, our Executive Director, Mr. Richard Rambarran, and Chairman of the Petroleum Committee, Mr. Pradeep Ramoutar met with representatives of the Guyana Customs House Brokers and Clerks Association which included its President, Mr. Collin Moore and his team of executives.
The association recently joined the Chamber as an associate member and the engagement served as an introductory meeting where they discussed areas of cooperation between the associations. The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) continues to work with associations as provisioned for under our associate membership.
Our associate members are non-profit/business support organizations and other civil society organizations executing business in Guyana. Currently, the Chamber has four associate member organizations. Currently, there are four within our membership. Once an organization fits the criteria, it is eligible for membership as an associate member of the GCCI as determined by our Council.
