GCCI meets with CEO of the International Centre for Trade Transparency and Monitoring

Executives of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Thursday, February 1, met with CEO of the International Centre for Trade Transparency (ICTTM), Mr. James York to discuss potential for collaboration between the two organizations.
Present from the GCCI were President, Mr. Kester Hutson, Senior Vice President, Mr. Richard Rambarran, Immediate Past President, Timothy Tucker and Chairman of the Trade and Investment Committee, Mr. Carlos Mendonca.
Mr. York shared about services provided by the ICTTM and initiatives in the works, which he believes could significantly benefit the private sector in Guyana, particularly companies that are trading internationally. York conveyed ICMTTMโ€™s hopes of developing a partnership with the GCCI to provide its membership a six month free priority and early access to new developments by the ICTTM.
ICTTM a commercial subsidiary of the International Trade Council (ITC). Founded in November 2022, ICTTM utilises artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and machine learning to address critical challenges in supply chain transparency with exclusive access to the worldโ€™s largest repository of global trade data.
