GCCI Facilitated a Presentation by the EEPGL on the First Schedule of Draft Local Content Bill.
On Friday, November 19, 2021, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) facilitated a presentation by the Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL) on the draft Local Content Bill First Schedule. Both parties were given the opportunity to present their views and feedback on improving local content was sought. Subsequently, the membership of the GCCI was given the opportunity to discuss the EEPGL’s presentation.
Overall, the GCCI will continue to work with all stakeholders to promote local content.
