YEC 2026 | AGRO-PROCESSING & LIGHT MANUFACTURING | INTERACTIVE BREAKOUT SESSION
Young participants at GCCI’s inaugural Youth Entrepreneurship Conference 2026 explored opportunities in Agro-Processing & Light Manufacturing, looking at how local agricultural products can be transformed into value-added businesses.
Krysten Sewett, Owner of Orijin Inc., and Ameer Rahim, Owner of Country Side Flavour, facilitated the session and shared practical insights on developing products, identifying market opportunities, and turning agricultural resources into viable enterprises.
The session encouraged participants to look at agriculture not only from the farm, but through the lens of innovation, production and entrepreneurship.
