The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) recently hosted a Business Forum with Saipem Guyana, bringing together members to gain firsthand insight into the company’s procurement processes, supplier qualification requirements, and opportunities within the oil and gas sector.

Led by Country Manager Bruno Marino, with presentations from Senior Buyer Devika Rajkissioon and Local Content Coordinator Bindya Deokaran, the forum provided participants with a comprehensive overview of Saipem’s vendor qualification process, procurement and tendering procedures, invoicing requirements, and the importance of maintaining compliance with Guyana’s Local Content framework.

The interactive session also gave members the opportunity to engage directly with Saipem’s team, ask questions, and gain practical guidance on positioning their businesses for future opportunities within the company’s supply chain.
