Representing the Chamber were GCCI President, Mrs. Kathy Smith, and Junior Vice President, Mrs. Kristia Ramlagan-Prescott. They were welcomed by Country Manager, Mr. Edmund Braithwaite, who provided an overview of SCOOP Guyana’s operations, its role in supporting Guyana’s energy sector and other key industries, and introduced members of the company’s management team.
The delegation also shared an overview of the Chamber’s mission, strategic priorities, and ongoing initiatives, highlighting its commitment to supporting private sector growth, strengthening the business environment, and fostering collaboration across industries.
The visit included a tour of the company’s facilities, including the operations command centre, briefing rooms, and other key operational areas, providing valuable insight into SCOOP Guyana’s operational capabilities and the services it provides in support of Guyana’s growing economy.
The engagement forms part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with its members, encourage meaningful engagement across the private sector, and gain a deeper understanding of the businesses and industries contributing to Guyana’s continued economic development.
