Vacancy: Finance Clerk
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties:
● Prepare invoices
● Receive payments
● Manage petty cash and cheque transactions
● Manage payables & receivables
● Update Quickbooks with transactions
● Prepare minutes
● Make deposits
Requirements:
● Five CSEC subjects
● Applicants should be pursuing CAT/Accounting
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same/ similar profession
● Knowledge of Quickbooks ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel
● Excellent data entry and records maintenance skills
Skills:
● Positive attitude, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks
● Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
● Able to work as a team player, proactive, self-motivated, and high sense of responsibility
● Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-moving environment
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
