Several GCCI members attend CLBD Labour Assessment Study Stakeholder Meetin

Several members of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce (GCCI) on Friday, February 9, attended a stakeholder meeting for associations held by the Centre for Local Business Development-Guyana (CLBD) at its South Road Office.

The meeting was held to present the findings of a Greater Guyana Initiative (GGI) Funded Labour Assessment Study that was recently conducted. The assessment was carried out to gain insights into specific labour gaps, challenges and needs in the agriculture, oil and gas, construction, transport and logistics, and health sectors in Guyana. The findings were presented by the Centre’s Director, Dr. Natasha Gaskin-Peters, Deputy Director, Ms. Gina Arjoon and Analytics Coordinator, Mr. Ron Glasgow.
