GCCI represented at WUSC SAC Committee Meeting in Jamaica
Chairman of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry Agriculture Committee, Mr. Brian Edwards represented the Chamber at the Sustainable Agriculture Caribbean (SAC) Project Advisory Committee Meeting being held in Jamaica from February 6 – 7.

Executed by the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) the Sustainable Agriculture in the Caribbean (SAC) is a five year project that seeks to promote climate-resilient agriculture for equitable economic growth among women and youth in the Caribbean. SAC is a multi-country economic growth project, funded by Global Affairs Canada. It is being implemented in Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint. Lucia, and Suriname. SAC was launched in Guyana in 2021.
WUSC Guyana is currently supporting the economic empowerment of women and youth across Regions 2, 3, 4, 5,6, and 10 within the fruits and vegetable markets.
