Guyana Pavilion officially opens at Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), 2022
– GCCI part of Guyanese delegation
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is part of the Guyanese delegation currently attending the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2022, being hosted in Houston, Texas.
The OTC, which has been in observance since 1969, features a string of conferences and exhibitions centralised on exchanging technical knowledge relevant to the development of offshore energy resources, primarily oil and natural gas. The conference also attracts over 59,000 attendees from more than 100 countries every year.
Today, the Guyana Pavilion was officially opened, which is part of the exhibition component of the OTC. The pavilion is expected to showcase Guyanese businesses and organisations, especially those active in the oil and gas sector and paves the way for networking which may ultimately lead to fostered partnerships and new opportunities for the Guyanese companies/organisations partaking in the exhibit. Approximately 24 representatives from member companies of the GCCI are attending the conference and members of the GCCI’s Council and Executive Management Committee (EMC).
