About Us

A country’s development is based on several sectors collectively working and it can be noted that infrastructure is one of the core sectors in this process. Given Guyana’s geographical framework; the construction industry has always been a major focus for the Government. From the Sea and River Defenses needed to the internal networking of Roads, Inland Drainage, and Irrigation as well as the growing need for Buildings and Homes. BK Supermix Inc. (BKSMI) was formed to support the services of BK International Inc. who is one of Guyana’s largest locally-owned Construction company and (BKSMI) has since moved on to become one of the leading suppliers of Ready-mix concrete in Guyana. With the increased number of projects in the infrastructure sector, BK Supermix Inc. has positioned and will continue to position itself to be one of the major suppliers by combining the science, technology, and manpower available to create efficient and quality outputs

Our Services

Over the years BKSMI has diligently worked with contractors, consultants, and private customers on meeting their specific ready-mix needs. Our commitment to providing quality can be highlighted by the laboratory tests provided to our clients as well as our fully computerized batching plant. This plant enables us to provide the additional quality control needed, verifying mixture and quantity delivered, and is monitored by ALKON in the United States of America.

Ready mix:

Our ready-mix designs range from 2500 to 7000 PSI (see table).

Concrete Compressive Test:

We are able to provide contractors and clients analysis on concrete cubes, even for ready-mix not supplied by BKSMI.
