The Fire Advisory Board in collaboration with the Guyana Fire Service, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be hosting a one-day Fire Prevention Seminar on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 8:00 hours to 16:30 hours at the Everest Cricket Club Members Pavilion on Camp Road & Carifesta Avenue sponsored by the Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire & Life Group of Companies.

 The seminar forms a major part of the public relations and education sub-committee programme of the Fire Advisory Board and intends to inform participants of the importance of fire prevention and general safety issues.

 The Guyana Fire Service, the Fire Advisory Board and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry would like to invite members of the business community, security sector, engineers, architects and university students to attend this informative session. Presenters include: Mr. Marlon Gentle, Chief Fire Officer and Mr. Raj Singh, Chairman of the Fire Advisory Board and other Officers from the GFS.
