Georgetown Guyana, – Ms. Sharon Christopher, accomplished business enthusiast and a passionate woman who believes in empowering women, is a great motivational and eloquent speaker. Participants at the Living Well Women’s Retreat – is in for a treat. Ms. Christopher loves to share her personal story regarding her climb up the corporate ladder. She encourages others to always believe in their dreams no matter how things might look. This year’s theme is “Taking CARE of YOU; YOU matter.”

The Living Well retreat was incepted by Ms. Patrice Da Costa, CEO of STOOSH Images, a licensed internationally based image consulting and personal development company, dedicated to the holistic development of individuals along with an all-encompassing need to give back to the community. Dacosta would like women to love themselves more not just the external but the entire YOU. This empowering event will be hosted by Ms. Lyndell Danzie-Black Managing Director of Cerulean Inc., and Ms. Melissa Jagnandan, a personal trainer and Authorized International Herbalife Representative and Owner/Director of Mel’s Nutrition and Fitness Express. Cerulean Inc. is a regional Training and Business Consulting company, working to develop small to medium size enterprise, with a particular interest in women run organizations. They are among other speakers who will address the Retreat.

Registration is now open for the Retreat, which will be hosted at the Herdmanston Lodge, Queenstown on 25 April, 2015.

Our vision is that this retreat becomes the largest event for women in the Caribbean. The retreat will convened in Barbados initially over the weekend of 17 – 19 April, 2015, and will attract Barbadian women, who will come together for a weekend retreat; and subsequently Guyana for a day long retreat on the 25th April, 2015. These events present women with a space for networking, professional development and personal growth opportunities. The “Living Well” Retreat will be a regional event targeting St. Lucia and Antigua as the next venues.

Participants are will be enlightened as the topics to be covered includes, styling, mixing and matching, personal development, self-confidence, skin rejuvenation, nutrition, massage and makeup. Speakers will share their experience and expertise on a range of topics including personal growth, career advancement, health and wellness, small business and entrepreneurship, and lots more. This year’s Retreat theme “Taking care of YOU; YOU matter”, encourages women to take a greater role in changing the course of their own lives whilst taking a keen interest in changing the lives of their sisters through networking, mentoring and garnering of positive energy to foster change in their communities.

A generous contribution from the proceeds of this event will be donated to the Lifeline Counselling Services, a Non Profit, Non–Governmental Organization, founded in October 1996 to provide Spiritual support, education, health, nutrition, lifestyle and medicine to women and children infected and affected by HIV.

An early bird rate of $70 per person (before April 10, 2015), $697 per table of 10, and $75 per person regular fee.
