GCCI Security Seminar – Tuesday, August 13, 2013

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) will be hosting a Security Seminar on Wednesday, August 13, 2013 at the Pegasus Hotel Guyana from 9.00 hours to 12.00 hours.

The main objectives of the seminar are to sensitize the business community on issues relating to security in Guyana and to inform participants on some of the initiatives undertaken and services offered by various institutions to help ensure a safe business environment for all. This event is FREE and mainly targets the private sector and other members of the business community.

Presenters of the seminar include:

  • Ministry of Home Affairs – Hon. Clement Rohee, Minister of Home Affairs, Floyd Levi, Louis Dodson,  Daniel Kumar, Nakasi Nedd, Clement Henry and, Shaun Coojah 
  • Randy Storm, President of the Guyana Association of Private Security Organisations
  • Maurice Amres, Chief Executive Officer of GEB Security Services Inc.
  • Michael Ram, Head of Operational Risk- Republic Bank Guyana Limited
  • Doodnauth Danny, Electrical Engineer, NT Computeac
